David B. Wamsley - CEO/Managing Member

Formerly the founder and CEO of Camp VI, a successful Silicon Valley startup, David B. Wamsley secured over $25 million in venture financing while with Camp VI and launched three high-tech portfolio companies.

His work managing the 65-person firm and in forging dozens of strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 firms garnered media attention from the Wall Street Journal, the Economist, The New York Times, Fortune Magazine and dozens of industry publications.

Prior to returning to Tallahassee to found K2 Urbancorp in 2002, Wamsley also worked as the business development manager for Sega of America and market development manager for Hilton Hotel Development Group. He also founded his own Internet Company, Adauction, later renamed OneMediaPlace, which raised more than $88 million in private financing before Seattle-based Media Passage acquired it in 2001.
